Two souls, once best friends, forever bound by love, decided to embark on a secret elopement adventure to prioritize their special day. On their 10-year anniversary in June of 2023, Jess and Nathan chose to celebrate their love in a way that resonated with them - an intimate, yet meaningful experience, just for the two of them. As their photographer, I had the privilege of capturing the raw emotion and joy as they shared this momentous occasion.

Watching them bask in the beauty of their forest setting, surrounded by the serenity of nature, was a truly magical experience. They were in their element, lost in each other's eyes, with tears of happiness streaming down their faces. It was clear that they had made the right decision to put themselves first on this special day.

As we constructed their timeline, it was evident that they yearned for a fairytale-like atmosphere, complete with lush greenery and whimsical details. And what did they get? A day that was nothing short of "meant to be". A sudden downpour of rain cleared up to reveal a stunning morning, followed by a warm and sunny afternoon - a perfect backdrop for their love story.

But even the elements couldn't stop them - or me - from making this day unforgettable. The crowning touch? Jess's breathtaking bouquet, crafted with love and care by her own hands. And four months later, we revisited this special day with friends and family for their post elopement party, in October 2023. This time, they celebrated with a dress alteration and Nathan's re-worn suit, dancing into the night until midnight. It was a night to remember, filled with laughter, tears, and gratitude for the love that brought them together.
